The Estate

Château Montrose, owned by the Martin and Olivier Bouygues brothers since 2006, is a renowned Second Cru Classé in the Saint-Estèphe appellation. The estate is situated on one of the most exquisite terroirs in the Médoc and has been recognized for the exceptional quality and distinctive style of its wines, earning it global acclaim.

The Vineyard

Château Montrose is produced from a 95-hectare vineyard, uniquely located in a single block on one of Bordeaux’s finest terroirs. Positioned near the Gironde estuary, the vineyard features terraces of gravel mixed with surface sand, while the subsoil is rich in clay.
